# 401 API exception

**Description**  
Dear Team, We are not able to create meeting from .NET Web Application and getting unauthorized error from API.

**Error**  
The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized.

**Which App Type (OAuth / Chatbot / JWT / Webhook)?**  
JWT based authentication are using through .NET Application.

**Which Endpoint/s?**

Hey @rahuls,

How are you setting your authentication header?

Also, make sure you are sending a POST request, and passing in a userID who is a [user on your account.](https://zoom.us/account/user#/)
