# A Verification Token is not generated with deauthorization event notification

**Description**  
I am testing the deauthorization endpoint and is expecting the [Verification Token](https://marketplace.zoom.us/docs/guides/auth/deauthorization#security) for security but not receiving any.

**Error**  
My API checks for the verification token for validation, and because it is not returning the key it’s preventing the reauthorization event process.

**Which App Type (OAuth / Chatbot / JWT / Webhook)?**  
OAuth

The document indicates:

Note: A Verification Token for Deauthorization events is generated only after a valid Deauthorization Notification Endpoint URL has been added.

My testing endpoint was added in the production settings.

Nevermind, I thought this was part of the webhook but it was from the header.
