# Adding extra icon in UI

I’m currently developing an app intended to run inside the Zoom client. As part of the functionality, I’d like to display a tick or cross emoji near a participant’s name tag and microphone symbol on the video canvas, based on certain conditions.

Could you kindly guide me on which Zoom API or SDK capability would best support this feature?
