**API Endpoint for date- and timeformat settings**
_/users/{userId} or /users/{userId}/settings_

**Description**
While provisioning our users with SSO we discover that the timeformat ist 12h and the date format is in US-style. For our (german) customers we would like to set it globally to 24h and “german” date format.

I try to find a possibility to reach this via API but unfortunately there is no option documented in API-Docs.

Is there any way to set this settings via API or is it possible to add this settings to update User API- endpoint?

Thanks in advance for your support!

Hey @elisa.zoom,

thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately I didn’t find any workaround except guide our users to do it manual.
Do you have any workaround? Maybe it’s possible to extend the API-Endpoint for changing users?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @raphael.topel
Thanks for confirming this with me.
The only workaround that I can think of right now is if you update the user’s time zone using the [Patch/user/userID endpoint](https://developers.zoom.us/docs/api/rest/reference/zoom-api/methods/#operation/userUpdate)

If you have any suggestions or feature requests, feel free to add them here:
