# API List Variable Logs can only return max 10k rows

#### the API List Variable Logs([Contact Center APIs](https://developers.zoom.us/docs/api/contact-center/#tag/variables/get/contact_center/variable_logs)) can only return max 10k rows each API call,

as a work around, I can reduce the timeframe but can’t ensure it will have less than 10k rows in any given timeframe in peak .

So I tried call the API with engagement\_id parameter, But it only takes one engagement\_id each time, and will call API once per engagement, it hits the rate limit of 30k API call per day very quick .

any solution on this ?

hi @Zoom_Data ,

I have heard that hard limit before although I do not have a documented answer for you.

I would agree that reducing the timespan and make multiple requests would be the answer
