I asked a question before, for some reason I can’t even link to the previous question because of limitations to this forum platform.
And for some reason I now cannot reply to the answer I got, that previous thread is locked for some reason.

So allow me to please re-ask the question, because the answer I received was not relevant to my question.

I need to create a tool that will allow users to sign in with their zoom account, the tool will use the zoom API to create a zoom meeting link for the user. In order to do that, I created a “general app”. It’s currently marked as “development” and not “production”. I’m fine with that. I want to now add testers to test the app. I thought I need to do that in Local Test → “Assign test user licenses”, an option which forces me to define monetization plans, which I do not want to do (and in there, even defining a free monetization plan seems to require a stripe connect (“Please set up your payment account with Stripe in[marketplace.zoom.us](https://marketplace.zoom.us/) in order to continue creating pricing plans”) This entire process is very complicated, I just want to add several users so they’ll be able to test the integration before I go through with switching it to production. If there’s a different way to add testers to the development build then please let me know.

Otherwise,

Hi @cinteladmin It looks like there’s some confusion around how to add test users, so I want to clarify that **clicking on the " Assign test user licenses"** is **not** the correct method.

To add test users, you’ll want to do this through your **development environment** :

1. Go to the **Development** tab of your app.
2. Click on **Local Test**.
3. From there, select **Add App** — this is how you (or your testers) can authorize the app for testing.

You can also invite [collaborators](https://developers.zoom.us/docs/distribute/app-ownership/app-collaborators/) to your app, and they can follow the same process to test it.

If you’re testing in the **production environment** , the process is similar. However, for **external users** , you’ll want to request a **[Beta URL](https://developers.zoom.us/docs/distribute/sharing-private-and-beta-apps/)** (also called a **Shareable URL** ). This allows up to **10 users** to install and test your app before it’s published.

If your test user is a **Zoom reviewer** , all they need is credentials to access your platform — whether that’s a website, app, or other interface. There’s no need to configure anything within Zoom itself for them; the setup should happen on your end.

I’ve also recorded a quick video to help make everything more visual and easier to follow — I hope it helps! [Clips](https://success.zoom.us/clips/share/f99PnFLlSKSHyI6dGAbTOg)
