# Backstage Option for Practice Mode

Requesting that Backstage be an option when enabling Practice Mode. Without this being an API option, we have to make this change manually to every webinar we schedule.

hi @mhaymore ,

You really don’t need this. You have all the options already.  
Set up backstage and then practice from there.  
The only reason practice mode exists is to give you a way to join the webinar before going live.  
You can even use this in advance of the webinar and then close and restart later

I might be a developer, but I run 3 or more webinars myself each week.
