Hi! Same issue as [Unable to update user settings with API](https://devforum.zoom.us/t/unable-to-update-user-settings-with-api/28177) and [Unable to update user settings](https://devforum.zoom.us/t/unable-to-update-user-settings/1654) (closed without being resolved). And also same as [Cannot update user settings](https://devforum.zoom.us/t/cannot-update-user-settings/55142) (some obscure fix this is likely similar to what I need). Assuming I’m missing an undocumented param like in the last link but please lmk if you know what it is. Thanks for any help you can provide! **Description** I’m calling PATCH [https://api.zoom.us/v2/users/](https://api.zoom.us/v2/users/)\/settings with json: {“email\_notification”: {“cloud\_recording\_available\_reminder”: false}} and headers: {“Authorization”: “Bearer XYZABC”, “Content-Type”: “application/json”} And I get a 204 response but the settings are not updated in the UI or if I call GET [https://api.zoom.us/v2/users/](https://api.zoom.us/v2/users/)\/settings **Error** No error message but the settings are not updated. **Which App Type (OAuth / Chatbot / JWT / Webhook)?** OAuth **Which Endpoint/s?** > **[Update user settings - Users - Zoom API - API Reference](https://marketplace.zoom.us/docs/api-reference/zoom-api/users/usersettingsupdate)** > > Update a user's settings. Hey Will, Thanks for the quick reply! I change my PATCH call to [https://api.zoom.us/v2/users/](https://api.zoom.us/v2/users/)/settings?option=recording\_authentication but it’s still not updating the email\_notification.cloud\_recording\_available\_reminder field. Hi @will.zoom, Yup I’m passing the json body {“email\_notification”: {“cloud\_recording\_available\_reminder”: false}} Actually now that I look at the query parameter you suggested of option=recording\_authentication why am I supposed to pass that? I want to turn off email notifications for cloud recordings, which is in the first schema listed here [https://marketplace.zoom.us/docs/api-reference/zoom-api/users/usersettingsupdate](https://marketplace.zoom.us/docs/api-reference/zoom-api/users/usersettingsupdate) not one of the schemas that goes with an option.
