# Contact Request

**Description**  
I like to send a contact request via API. At present, I send the contact request via the Zoom app and then I send the chat message via API. I want to send the contact request also via API.

**Error**  
I cant find any API

**Which App Type (OAuth / Chatbot / JWT / Webhook)?**  
I use OAuth API.

**Which Endpoint/s?**  
Once I have the API, I will then use /chat/users/{userId}/messages to send messages to the user

**How To Reproduce (If applicable)**  
Steps to reproduce the behavior:  
This is a feature sort of requirement.

Hi @saran,

To clarify, you’re referring to contacts in the Zoom Client, right? If so, I should clarify that it’s not currently possible to invite contacts via API—though, this is a great suggestion.

If you’re so inclined, I recommend posting a feature request for this here, for future consideration: #feature-requests
