# Create a webinar using an existing template

Hi,

I am trying to use an existing template to create a webinar. But I’m facing some issues regarding the webinar settings default values.  
The webinar is created but the settings value “auto\_recording” is not set as in the template. I set it to “cloud” in the template but in the created webinar it is set to “none”.

This is the request I used:

POST **[https://api.zoom.us/v2/users/[MY\_USER\_ID]/webinars](https://api.zoom.us/v2/users/%5BMY_USER_ID%5D/webinars)**

Thanks for your patience while I investigated this issue further.  
I just heard back from our Engineering team and it looks like this issue is a bug on our end.  
I am still waiting to hear back from a ETA for the fix. I will keep you posted.  
(ZOOM-396810 internal ticket for your reference)
