# Deauthorization Endpoint not being hit

**Description**  
We are creating a user managed Zoom **Oauth** app. The app is currently in draft status and has not been published. It is a User managed app. I have entered the **Deauthorization Notification URL** on the Basic Information page. I have installed and uninstalled the app but the endpoint does not get hit. Does the app need to be published for the Deauthorization endpoint to be hit?

Hi @kothariaditya,

Thanks for reaching out about this, and good question.

In order for the deauthorization event to be triggered, you need to ensure you’re testing with the app’s **Publishable URL**. Please install the app’s production instance (using the Publishable URL on the app’s **Submit** tab) and then uninstall to ensure the event is triggered.
