# Error occured when trying to react with custom emoji

Hello  
we ar efacing an issue when trying to react with a custom emoji in a channel.  
type of the app: user authenticated  
url:/chat/users/me/messages/D8F81F17-A2F0-49F9-A4C5-C483CBE655E6/emoji\_reactions  
body: {  
“action” : “add”,  
“emoji” : “:sa\_reaction:”,  
“custom\_emoji” : true,  
“custom\_emoji\_id” : “gctOREveQOSnAukbLMrRug”,  
“to\_channel” : “…”  
}  
Error msg:  
{  
“code” : 5301,  
“message” : “Your request to react the message failed due to an internal error. Retry after a few seconds.”  
}

NOTE: it wortks with default emojis
