# Get recording password in API

**Description**  
I want to get password for cloud recording through API and recording id.  
or  
Is there any other way to get password? by autheticate account.

Hey @michael5,

Looks like we don’t return it from our cloud recording APIs. I will add this as a feature request. (ZOOM-173332)
