# Getting 400 Invalid token error while regenerating the refresh token

Could some please let me know im getting Invalid token (invalid\_grant) when we try to get new refresh token, Is that related with scopes of the app that we create or other than that anything else.

Hi @bharanik0408,

I’m not to clear on the type of app that you’re using, but it seems that you may be using an Oauth App, I would suggest re-authorizing the application, you may be using an outdated refresh token, re-authorizing would be the quickest way to get back to making authorized API requests.
