# Getting started with Javascript (not Node)

I’ve been spending hours and hours nowand just getting nowhere started.

I can’t find a JS only tutorial. The “Javascipt” quick starts on the getting started re Node and not Javascript. Even the tutorial here “Basic HTML and Javascript” starts of with using npm…  
The “web view” example on Zoom documentation is from Angular …

My website runs PHP and so I just want a Javascript and not Node.

Is there not a simple getting started guide for this case for using plain Javascript?

(Sorry, I had links for everything, but I wasn’t allowed to add them)
