# How to disable screenshare with API

**Description**  
Hi, we are using JWT and inquiring about how to disable screenshare for non-hosts during a meeting.

Hey @jason1,

You can disable screen share for participants in [your settings](https://zoom.us/profile/setting) or [account settings](https://zoom.us/account/setting):
