# How to know user is active ?

He everyone.

I want to know status of user. Active, Inactive, Pending ?

what is way to know it whitout retrieve all users by status&nbsp;

Hi Mike,&nbsp;

The only way to know the status of a user is using the [Get users](https://devdocs.zoom.us/v1.0/reference#users-1) API. We’ll reach out to the Engineers to see if we can implement a better way to see that status without retrieving all users.&nbsp;
