Hello!

We are trying to test Deauthorization Notification for our OAuth application and receive no event when we do Uninstall for the application.

The application is not published yet. Is it expected behaviour? How can we test this endpoint?

Thanks,
Anton

Hey @Sitting,

Currently the only way to test Deauth is in your production environment, or to change the Deauth url to your dev environment and install the production version of your app, then uninstall it.

Check out my post here for more in depth instructions on how to test it deauth:

> Hey @john! You are correct, you will only receive the Deauthorization Event Notification Webhook with the Production version of your app. You can test this by installing the production version of your app via your apps publishable URL, [54%20PM] And then [uninstalling your app on your “Installed Apps” page.](https://marketplace.zoom.us/user/installed) I made a simple PHP web server and was able to see the Verification Token in the request headers (when testing a Zoom event/webhook sent to my server). Here is my code: Examp…

Does the App needs to be published in the Marketpalce for the Deauthorization Event Webhook ro be triggered?

As of now I’m working on an App which hasn’t been published yet (I plan to send the request of approval soon) (even though it has a shareable URL) but I don’t manage to trigger the webhook (by uninstalling the App from the list of **installed apps** ).

Thank you in advance.

No, you can test by installing the production version of your app as see on the “Submit” page, and then uninstalling it on the [installed apps page](https://marketplace.zoom.us/user/installed).

Thanks,
