We are using a streaming CDN, and our app is designed to stream live content from OBS or hardware encoders using WebRTC. Participants can watch the stream while discussing it over a video conference. However, we’ve noticed that when the Zoom ios SDK starts the conference, it lowers the audio of the streamed content. This is problematic because it affects the experience for users who need to hear both the stream and the conference audio clearly. Why is the SDK reducing the audio of the streamed content when the video conference begins?

Hi @lorenzo1 I believe this is an iOS behaviour. When you’re on a call (can be any call, say zoom call or a cellular call) all media volume is lowered at a system level.
