# Meeting chat webhook and api

Meeting chat webhook does not work, we get any other event like partecipant joined but not the one for the chat

Are all pre-requisites for the event met? [Meetings Webhooks - Zoom Developers](https://developers.zoom.us/docs/api/meetings/events/#tag/meeting/POSTmeeting.chat_message_sent)

Particulary " This feature is **only** enabled upon request approval. Contact the [Zoom support team](https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362003) for more information."?

Thank you very much!

We contacted the support and asked to enable it as mentioned in the documentation, but since 3 days still we just got an answer that we must wait. Even we escalated that we are going live in 10 days and we would need it urgently.

As of today we still did not get any update from support, is there anything we can do to have some answer? Should it be straightforward just enable it?
