# Meeting SDK Web - Automatically Join Audio

This functionality appears to be asked about often so I am created a formal feature request here. The root of the issue is that this extra step can be confusing for some people and adds a barrier to getting into the meeting. This should be a first-class feature enabled at the API or SDK level rather than the hacked solution of using a JS mutation observer to manipulate the DOM.
