# Missing "recording.transcript\_completed" webhook events

We have configured our app to receive cloud recording events for transcripts (recording.transcript\_completed).

We find that we are not receiving this event for a lot of meetings, although we are able to see it in the recordings UI

seeing this very frequently..  
anyone else facing this issue? need help figuring this out

Hi @satheesh-rl,

Have you noticed any patterns in which meetings are missing the `recording.transcript_completed` event? For example, is this happening for every meeting created by a particular account?

You may not have transcription enabled for some of these meetings. This would prevent you from receiving the `recording.transcript_completed` webhook when these meetings end.

transcript is definitely available in the cloud..  
its just the event which is missing.
