# Outbound campaigns API

Hello!

I’ve been using the example request that is in the Campaigns API docs [Contact Center APIs](https://developers.zoom.us/docs/api/contact-center/#tag/campaigns/get/contact_center/outbound_campaign/campaigns)

I was able to create the contacts list, push contacts to the list, and create the outbound campaign.

For some reaon, the campaign doesn’t start the engagements until I manually change the statue to Paused, and then update it to Running. Does someone know if there is a way to fix this? the displayed status is Running
