# Postman Request: Invalid URL: https://zoom.us/oauth/authorize

## Using this template helps us debug your issues more effectively 🙂

**Description**  
I am trying to send a request to the url using postman, ```  
[https://zoom.us/oauth/authorize?response\_type=code&client\_id=6QHYnk67R\_SzRyCdtmNhNw&redirect\_uri=http://rohitrajskk.github.io](https://zoom.us/oauth/authorize?response_type=code&client_id=6QHYnk67R_SzRyCdtmNhNw&redirect_uri=http://rohitrajskk.github.io)

```auto

**Error**
I am getting an html which says "Invalid redirect url". Which works fine when i paste the url to a browser.

Do I need to send some kind of authentication with the request. I have tried Basic auth too but that was not successful.

Hey @mohitjangid21,

Thank you for reaching out to the Zoom Developer Forum. First, please make sure that you’ve added this URL as a redirect URL in your OAuth app settings and you have also whitelisted the URL:

It’s also important to note that the redirect URL [must be secured with HTTPS](https://marketplace.zoom.us/docs/guides/build/oauth-app#app-credentials:~:text=Redirect%20URL%20for%20OAuth%3A%20Provide%20a,after%20they%20successfully%20authorize%20your%20application.):
