# Raise hand not working

Whenever we are trying to use the functionality of raise hand, nothing happens. What could be the reason?

Please clarify the following so that we may properly assist you:

- SDK platform
- SDK version
- OS version
- Are you using the default UI or a custom UI?
- If using a custom UI, please provide a code snippet detailing how you are accessing this feature

Hi

we are using v5.0.24433.0616. The UI is default Zoom UI. We are facing this issue on Android SDK.

Hi @helloparent,

Can you please update to the latest version of the SDK and let me know if this issue persists? We released a version of the SDK with a fix related to the raise hand feature back in November, so this may work properly after an upgrade.
