# Rate Limits for the Android SDK

**Description**  
The mobile dev team at our company has integrated the client SDK for android. The client SDK will only be used for letting users join zoom meetings in our company app. We wanted to know if there is a limit on the number times the client SDK can be used. Currently, a common SDK key is being used and hence, the same SDK is being used many times.

Hi @red20197000, thanks for using our SDK.

While there are rate limits imposed on a per-SDK-instance basis, we do not make this information publicly available at this time. The current rate limits should not impose any restrictions on standard SDK usage.

Some of the SDK rate limits, however, may actually be limited by the rate limits of our REST API. If you see an SDK method that pertains directly to something from our REST API, it is possible (but not guaranteed) that the rate limit of that method is the same as that of the corresponding API call.
