# RAW audio data not working

**Description**  
When I am trying to subscribe to audio (or video) I get back an error saying “No License”. Am I requesting in a wrong way?

**Which macOS Meeting SDK version?**  
v5.9.3.4273

**Device (please complete the following information):**

- Device: [e.g. Apple MacBook Pro (16-inch, M1)]

**Additional context**  
I found this post here: [macOS SDK Raw Data Help/Examples?](https://devforum.zoom.us/t/macos-sdk-raw-data-help-examples/64525)

there it shows that it is possible. But for some reason, I must not be doing something in order. The code is nearly identical to the post above.

Hi @vasoundman, thanks for the post.

Currently you can only access raw data in a meeting if you have started a raw recording. More information on how to do this can be found in our [raw data documentation](https://marketplace.zoom.us/docs/sdk/native-sdks/macos/raw-data).
