**API Endpoint(s) and/or Zoom API Event(s)**

`recording.transcript_completed`

**Description**

This is regarding our Marketplace app. For that reason, I’m limited in the information I can post here, but we’d majorly appreciate any help anyone can offer.

A mutual user has subscribed to the `recording.transcript_completed` webhook event, however we cannot find any trace of webhooks being sent to us for this particular user. For others, we’re receiving hooks as expected.

What we’ve tried:

- Asking the user to confirm they they have the audio transcript setting(s), like “Create audio transcripts,” enabled
- Asking the user to make sure they’re using the authenticated account (host) to start the meetings \* Whether the issue was isolated to recurring meetings, one-off meetings, or both. They informed us that BOTH are impacted
- Asking the user to make sure “Turn on meeting summary automatically…” is enabled
- Asking the user to confirm that, when downloaded, the download includes the transcript file (they do)
- Asking the user if they were aware of any organization-level restrictions that would affect webhook delivery. There were not aware of any.
- Asking the user to try other events. `recording.completed` works as expected.
- Reviewing community threads (I see many similar threads, but no clear solution)
- Contacting Support (who referred me here)

**How To Reproduce**

We have not been able to reproduce this, however it is affecting a mutual user who is using our Marketplace app.

Is anyone aware of any other settings to check or any permissions restrictions that would prevent webhooks from being sent for the `recording.transcript_completed` event?

Thank you!

Hi @ConnorZ,

Thanks for the context here. It sounds like you went through all of the troubleshooting steps and this implementation works for your other users already. It also sounds like this user has already granted OAuth permissions to your Zoom app and is receiving other webhooks except for the `recording.transcript_completed`

If my understanding is correct and this is the case, you should also verify that [this user is on a paid Zoom plan](https://arc.net/l/quote/cpnpitly) as this seems to be a requirement [as mentioned in their docs](https://arc.net/l/quote/qtrjtjlv)

Hope this helps, cheers!
