# Request to enable RTMS

Hi Zoom Team,

Please enable RTMS for my General App.

Current issue:

- RTMS event subscriptions are configured (rtms\_started, rtms\_stopped)
- RTMS scopes are added
- App is installed and authorized
- “Share realtime meeting content with apps” is enabled in account settings
- BUT the app does not appear in the “Auto-start apps” dropdown
- meeting.rtms\_started webhook never fires

Use case: Real-time audio processing for AI-powered meeting assistant  
that provides live transcription and intelligent responses.

If your app isn’t listed in **Auto-start apps** and `meeting.rtms_started` never fires, RTMS likely isn’t enabled for your account/app yet. Zoom’s published onboarding flow is to submit the **[30-day free trial form](https://www.zoom.com/en/realtime-media-streams/#form)**, then the **[Developer Advocacy/Sales team enables RTMS on your account](https://devforum.zoom.us/t/rtms-account-access-how-to-get-started/137072)**.

Once RTMS is enabled, the dropdown should only show **RTMS-enabled apps** , and you can select it under **[Auto-start apps that access shared real-time meeting content](https://library.zoom.com/zoom-workplace/zoom-meetings/securing-zoom-meetings-explainer/zoom-realtime-media-streams)** (with “Share realtime meeting content with apps” enabled).

Also webhook delivery depends on RTMS actually starting in the meeting: make sure you’re subscribed to **[`meeting.rtms_started` / `meeting.rtms_stopped`](https://developers.zoom.us/docs/rtms/event-reference/)** and that your endpoint passes Zoom’s **[webhook configuration and validation](https://developers.zoom.us/docs/api/webhooks/)** requirements.
