# Screen share not broadcasting

**Screen share not working**  
I added broadcast extension of Obj-c type(Dint work with swift code so), Followed steps as mentioned in this link. I was able to see “screen” as option when clicked on “Share content” Button. I added below code to show recording option, and recording started fine, But screen sharing was not working. What am i missing?

Zoom SDK version used is v5.0.24433.0616

I also made sure screen share was allowed in meeting for all participants.

**Please let me know if any other code i am missing out**

Hey @idcinfo,

For now lets comment out the code you have in the onClickShareScreen function. Then we should double check a few things.

- App groups need to be enabled for both your app target and your broadcast extension target. They also need to be the same app groupID.

- When you initialize the SDK, there should be a line similar to this:  
yourSDKcontext.appGroupId = “group.com.zoom.yourAppID”.

- In your broadcastHandler class (this class is called SampleHandler by default), you should have something like:

> class SampleHandler: RPBroadcastSampleHandler, MobileRTCScreenShareServiceDelegate {
> 
> var screenShareService: MobileRTCScreenShareService?
> 
> override init() {
> super.init()
> 
> screenShareService = MobileRTCScreenShareService()
> screenShareService?.appGroup = "group.com.zoom.dev.ZoomiOSSDKAdvancedfeatures"
> screenShareService?.delegate = self
> }
> 
> ```

Are you using objective-c or swift?  
Is the broadcast extension crashing?  
What happens when a user starts a broadcast from the control center to your app?
