**Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.**
I have different meetings where i have to set different display names. For instance, in private meetings with friends i set a nickname, in business meetings i set my full name in a specific way and in family meetings another display name. I don’t want to manually rename me every time in Zoom Client.

So i wrote a script where i save my meetings with their specific display names.
It generates client url like this:
zoommtg://zoom.us/join?confno=123456789&pwd=xxxx&uname=test

Since Zoom client version 5.7.1, uname parameter is ignored. Because of that, my script doesn’t work anymore.

**Describe the solution you’d like**
Please re-implement the possibility to specify display name via client url parameter uname or via a command line switch.

I have the same question, what is the equivalent uname in url in 2025 for zoom?
