# Username callback?

**Description**  
This is for CustomUI. If I have a meeting with two participants (the host and an attendee) and the attendee were to use the rename action to update the username, what callback should get invoked? I am anticipating the **onInMeetingUserUpdated** to be called from **MobileRTCUserServiceDelegate**.

**Which version?**  
4.4.55183.0725

Hi Xiao,

Thanks for the post. The **onInMeetingUserUpdated** callback is for the event when the user’s state is updated in the meeting, so changing a name is not a state change, thus this callback will not invoke. I will need to consult our engineer on this and get back to you.

Hi Xiao,

We do not have a callback for this event (changing the display name) at the moment. We will investigate the possibility of adding this callback in the future release. I will let you know once the callback has been added.
