# Webinar API features

We have implemented Webinar API using webSDK for react.js and Node.js Application.  
But we facing problem that, we are unable to start (host) the webinar, unable to give host rights to users.  
only users are able to join the webinar.

Can any features(API) available in Zoom Webinar API’s to provide start(hosting), and providing host rights to users.

Hey @aayurkaul,

As of now the Web SDK cannot start webinars. It can only start meetings.

As a workaround, start the webinar via the Zoom App, or with the Web Client:

`https://zoom.us/wc/{webinarNumber}/start `

We are working to add support for starting webinars on the Web SDK sometime this year.
