# Webinar on Web SDK

I am trying to connect Web SDK to Webinar, i have put the necessary Webinar ID, Password, Key and secret, but i am getting the following error when i try to start the webinar

“Not allow to start webinar from web.”

I am using web SDK version 1.7.8

Kindly Assist.

Hey @shumbafariraishe,

Currently with the Web SDK, for webinars, you can only join them as an attendee, you cannot start them.
