# WebSDK: Join before Host

Hello Guys,

Is it not possible to join a meeting directly using WebSDK even if join before host is enabled ?

Hi @tommy

What i meant was - If i join a meeting which has “Join before host” enabled, it should have allowed me to join even if host has not started the meeting right ? I am able to do so when i join via zoom app.

However, when i do the same using webSDK i am not allowed to join in. I get “meeting not started” - Is this something which webSDK does not provide yet ?

Hey @techies23,

Are you using the personal meeting ID with join before host? We have recently disabled using both together. Try testing with a scheduled meeting not using pmi and join before host enabled.
