# Windows Desktop API for User Presence / Status

**Description**  
Can the user status (Available, Away, Do not disturb) / personal note be changed from the Windows Desktop SDK? Can it be changed from any of the other APIs?

Hi Matt,  
Thanks for interested in Zoom SDK. The user status you have mentioned cannot be changed with our SDK. It is not controlled by our SDK.
