**Description**
I want to create an app that integrated into the sidebar of the Zoom Client so people can use my app during live meetings. The instructions I see are all about integrated zoom INTO MY APP, but not integrating my app into the Zoom Client. There are many apps that do this (Asana is a good example) - so I know it can be done.

Do I need any special privilege to do this?

Hi @vnigam1,

What you’re describing can be accomplished via [Zoom Apps](https://explore.zoom.us/docs/en-us/zoom-apps.html). However, Zoom Apps have not yet been released for Developer GA. We hope to be releasing this capability publicly in the coming months. Stay tuned!

Thank you,
Will
