Please allow AI Companion for calls that occur on a physical phone. Ring Central can do this so I have all the faith Zoom can too.
Ben do you mean for blatent call received on handset, or for call you are on in Zoom that is poor quality and you use “Switch to Carrier”. The latter I would expect to remain a call in Zoom for call companion features, but in testing it bumps to Cell and disappears from the Zoom phone app. Would be great if both use cases were handled.
I was told that if I make a call using my desk phone (physical phone), the AI Companion will not work. This is a massive shortcoming with Zoom. Ring Central had this capability.
AI on my cell phone Zoom app does work.
I have not tried to switch between platforms (cell phone app to computer Zoom app or computer Zoom app to desk phone) to see if the AI Companion works and then quits working.
