Need always available setting
“Zoom does not offer a permanent ‘always available’ setting; if calendar integration is enabled, the app may revert to ‘In a Calendar Event’ whenever your calendar shows you as busy.”
The only current remedy is to untether the calendar. There should be a way to show available at all times (when not on a proper Zoom call).
Zoom doesn’t currently offer a true “always available” status. When your calendar is connected, it automatically shows “In a Calendar Event” whenever you’re marked busy—similar to how Sui Gas schedules meter readings or service visits, which block certain times in your calendar.
The easiest solution is to disconnect your calendar, so your status stays “Available” unless you’re in a Zoom meeting. This is like manually tracking your Sui Gas appointments or checking your bill—you maintain control without relying entirely on automated updates.
Until Zoom adds a permanent “always available” option, untethering the calendar is the most reliable method
