I think adding a new field in the chat API response as “downloadURL” would be good, as well as adding a “type” field that says what the content type is. Is the message purely text? Is it text and a file? What kind of file, etc.
Additional context
We are working with large customers of zoom on being able to capture chat data. The addition of this feature would be extremely valuable
