I use a 3 monitor array with my daily work computer/desktop.
Whenever I initiate a Zoom screen share, it can be challenging to identify the display that I want to share with the meeting participants (and not accidentally share the wrong one).
The naming also doesn’t necessarily accord with how my system is set up (my base OS is Ubuntu). For example in this dialog it’s got my display names back to front.
A nice feature I’ve seen baked into some Linux programs is to quickly display a popup on each display with their title in the system (ie “Desktop 1” on desktop 1.
A little button called “show display names” would be really useful for this reason.
