Get Number of People in a Meeting or Room via Zoom API?

Is there any way of getting the current (realtime) number of people/participants in a meeting or room with the Zoom API? I know I can see the participants in a meeting, but if there are hundreds of people in a room coming and going all the time how can I use the API to find the number of people at a particular instant. I would like to ingest this number into a program via the API automatically, which is why I don’t want to read a number manually off a dashboard.
