I am experiencing a breakdown in settings inheritance for my ISV account (Account ID: 7045314007, Account Type: ISV - Commercial, Impact: 300+ Users). Specifically, I am attempting to enable the setting: “Allow host to view activity statuses of participants in breakout rooms” at the Account/Admin level.
Observed Behavior:
- Unlocked State: When I enable the setting at the Admin level but leave it unlocked, the setting does not cascade to the 300+ users in my account. Their individual settings remain disabled.
- Locked State: When I click the “Lock” icon next to the setting, it successfully forces the change to all users.
- The Bug: As soon as I unlock the setting (to allow users the choice), the setting reverts or disappears for the child users rather than remaining “On” by default.
Expected Behavior:
The setting should cascade to all users as the “Default” state once enabled by the Admin, regardless of whether the lock is engaged. Users should only see a different state if they have manually toggled it themselves.
