Request for Outbound Call API for Zoom Phone

We are currently considering developing an application that leverages Zoom Phone features and would like to inquire about the following:

I am looking for an API that enables outbound calls. While I understand that it is possible to initiate calls using the URI schema, I would like to know if there is an API available for this functionality or if such an API is planned for release in the near future.

If such an API is not currently available, I would like to submit this as a feature request for your consideration.

Background
This functionality would allow for a more seamless integration of Zoom Phone into applications, enhancing the overall user experience.

I had requested this in 2023 and they ignored it. Zoom seems to not understand how useful this would be for integration especially for companies switching from competitors like Avaya where this functionality is supported.
