We want to integrate a real time avatar from LiveAvatar (Heygen) into Zoom. I see the terms and conditions have changed, is there a way now to a video bot to be approved to go into a Zoom?
If you need the avatar to join as an actual meeting participant, the documented route is the Meeting SDK joining the meeting as a participant, and for meetings hosted by external accounts that now depends on OBF or ZAK authorization.
Another option would be to use the Recall.ai API. It’s a simple third-party API that allows you to record and transcribe Zoom meetings without needing to manage the underlying infrastructure. We also have first-class support for adding video avatars to meetings, and have a sample app using Heygen here if you’re interested!
Thank you for your answer and demo. Appreciate it. If we did want to build this ourselves, is there any update now from Zoom preventing us adding a bot to meeting meaning not a human?
