I work in an enterprise environment and we were expecting updates from Zoom about certain updates for our software.
We keep our software up to date for our integrations, but we don’t see any other updates for the enforcement of Zoom’s Software Quarterly Lifecycle Policy and the security of our systems we take care to maintain.
In world with security vulnerabilities, hacking and account take overs, I and my team don’t want to risk deprioritising updating our Zoom integrations (web and mobile) as these vulnerabilities still linger.
If the Zoom Software Quarterly Lifecycle Policy is stalled, it would be hard to convince the higher ups in my organisation to prioritise good security hygiene and keep our systems and integrations with Zoom up to date.
Can we get an update on the Zoom Software Quarterly Lifecycle Policy and can this be restarted?
However, Zoom continues to have lifecycle policies for Zoom platform products.
So I don’t understand what your concern is. There was a delay last year in some updates because of the ambiguity of Microsoft regarding the end of Windows 10, but that did not affect Zoom development, just the support for older systems.
Zoom developer products are updated as needed.
Problems or issues with ZPI’s can be reported and are fixed quickly.
Here is the latest release for enformcement of versions.
