It states that the enforcement date is February 23, 2026, but our app will not be ready in time.
Has there been any consideration to extend the deadline?
Also, is the stated deadline based on the PST time zone?
If so, what would the exact time be?
There could be differences in dates when notifying users in different regions.
To ensure a secure ecosystem, the migration must be completed by February 23, 2026 (I will update specific timezone shortly). At this time, we cannot grant extensions and we strongly recommend prioritizing these updates to prevent any disruption. Our team is fully committed to supporting you through this process, please reach out with specific questions or join us for our weekly office hours resuming January 7th
Thank you for your response.
I have another question.
Currently, we initialize the Meeting SDK by generating a JWT based on the Client ID and other credentials.
After February 23, this initialization will not be affected, correct?
My understanding is that the change only impacts joining meetings.
@aiko.yoshikawa that is correct. You will still generate the JWT token the same way as you do today, the February 23rd change impacts how users outside of your developer account join meetings
