I am using the Zoom API and the Web SDK to offer meetings via web browser (no offer to join via zoom client). The CPU usage from the attendees is 100% by opening a meeting. And the video/audio begins stuttering and/or A/V is out of sync.
There are more than 100 attendees in this meeting. The video and sound of the attendees are off.
Are there any settings needed to reduce the CPU usage?
I already found that topic here some months ago but didn’t find a solution to reduce the CPU usage.
Have there been any updates concerning this issue?
TO your question about the browser: I can’t ask them all. But some of them used:
Firefox 78.0.1 (64-Bit)
Chrome, Ver. 83.0.4103.116 (about 15 attendees are using this version)
Maybe you can answer the following question for me to understand a bit more about the API:
Does it make sense to offer a meeting for 150 attendees ONLY via browser?
Should I reduce the video quality? If yes, where can I do this?
Is there any other solution to offer 20 meetings for 150 attendees? I made a website with these 20 meetings and the attendees can easily join the meeting. They only need to enter their name to join. This is much easier than using the desktop client.
