Does adding a registrant also send out an email?

Greetings - If I create a meeting in ZOOM, then I use the REST API call “Add Meeting Registrant” to add an external user to this meeting will ZOOM then send an email with link to that user automatically as part of this API call, OR is there a way to trigger an email with link to be sent to the user automatically after they are added via the rest api call?

After you add a meeting registrant to an external user then Zoom will automatically send an email to the external user.
