I’m using the New Cloud Recording Zap trigger

Description
I want the zap to trigger on ANY new cloud recording on the account.

I’ve connected Zapier with the Owner account. As Zapier describes in its zap flow, it should ‘detect’ any cloud recording on the account.

Error?
No error, however no cloud recording triggering on account, only my recordings.

How To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

  1. create zap with New cloud recording

  2. Set option to “All new cloud recordings”

  3. Push zap live

  4. Observe no triggers for on team member’s recordings.

This looks more like a Zapier connection scope issue than a Zoom recording limitation. For Zapier to trigger across the org, the Zoom connection needs shared access permissions, and Zapier also says the admin must add the affected users to the Zapier app. Without those two pieces, the New Cloud Recording trigger can end up firing only for the connected owner account.

I even tried to use the basic Webhook app in zoom itself and it still doesn’t trigger on recording.completed which I suspect is happening to the Zapier app’s webhook as well.

Has zoom recognised there is a bug here?
